LED Strip Lighting Control Multiple Addressable Strips

Hey guys,

I'm new to LED strip lighting, so hoping for some advise.

I want to have 5 x 4m long strips mounted parallel to each other on an outdoor fence, and I'd like to be able to control them all from a single controller to create contiguous patterns between the strips, like light cascading down or up between the strips.

The idea is to have it permanently installed and remotely customisation to different events. This is a project i'm willing to put in a bit of money and time into to get right.

The question I have is in regards to the controller, i haven't been able to find much online about how i could control addressable strips to this level.

Anyone have any experience with something similar or any suggestions?

Thanks!

Might be worth looking up how some of the more extreme Christmas lights do their displays

This would be a good starting point to learn the different aspects regarding RBG lights https://auschristmaslighting.com/wiki/ dont forget your power supply, voltage drops over distance of wiring and software
