Best FM Receiver for Speakers with Aux Cable?

Hi, I recently purchased the Bose Home speaker 300 for my parents. It doesn't have FM in it and I was wondering if there is a receiver that can be used to play FM via aux cable in the bose 300 home speaker?

Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

  • "receiver" needed

  • I believe the word you are looking for is Radio (To be exact a FM Radio/Receiver with headphone out)

Use any FM Radio with the supplied 3.5" cable or install a free Radio App on a smartphone with a headphone socket.

    • Thank you for your response. I just updated my post.

  • It has built in Alexa and Google Assistant… I would imagine there's a better option than a separate radio. Play podcasts, link it to spotify etc, all by voice control

    • Yes, but it's for my parents who prefer listening to the radio then the podcasts or spotify.

Yep, I know, but you're not understanding the technology within a Google Assistant device:

They can just simply ask Google to play the station

Ohh. I was not aware of it at all. Thanks for that mate. it's surprising how unaware we can be of the full capacity of technology.

  • Most cheap mobile phones have the ability to play FM. They will work with an aux cable acting as an antenna.
