Plastiq.it Cashback Site that Requires Username and Password for Bank/CC?

I signed up for this service a little while ago via their website but couldn't use it without giving my login for bank/paypal/credit card. No way was I giving another site my un/pw.

Their site says:

Link Accounts (Optional)
Upgrade for free to CashbackPlus so you can earn extra cashback automatically in-store.

To do this, simply link your accounts to Plastiq.it, as Plastiq.it works with bank accounts, credit cards and alternative payment methods like PayPal and Zip.

but no way to skip this.

Anyone use this site or is the app better?

    Why not just stick to the reputable sites like ShopBack or Cashrewards ?

      Could say the same years ago for both ShopBack/Cashrewards as an original member of Moneybackco (then Pricepal) and Buckscoop (then Qwibble).

    Firstly their app is terrible
    Secondly I’ve contacted their support team about this and I will report back the results.

    EDIT (8/1 9:26AM): Their support team said it is possible to skip the process, however all the cashback offers are in the mobile app at the moment (not the website.)

      Ah there ya go. Thanks for checking. Not very clear on their site. I do all my shopping with my computer so not very convenient to use an app.

    I am trying to figure out how they use it instore. What if you include your bank account details put pay via a credit card linked to another bank. How will the cashback be tracked?

      I think you have to link every possible financial institution that you might pay with. Then they monitor your txn history and if you spend at a qualifying store, then you get the cashback. You can search for more than the options they present on the first screen.

    They just sent out a newsletter. Must have gotten the feedback.

    We get it, the bigger the purchase, the bigger the screen.
    Now you can use the web (desktop) app in addition to the mobile apps to earn online Cashback and Get PAID To Shop!

    Everything says up to x% which on T&Cs, exclusions listed. Next buttons don't work.

    Koko Black - up to 10% cashback is interesting. Not sure if it's in-store or online though.
