From the 'imperfect' range, but these are as good as any ive got from Colesworths.

Not sure how long they'll have them for but I bought some on Thursday and they still had them on Saturday.

Not sure if this is at any other stores.

  Good price if you want to make some strawberry ice-cream. If you don't have an ice-cream machine then I have a really easy alternative…

  Ingredients:

  600ml Thickened Cream
  500g Strawberries
  ~150g Sweetend Condensed Milk

  • Mix cream until fluffy
  • Mix in sweetend condensed milk (adding more makes it less icy, but way more sweet)
  • Slice a handful of strawberries into tiny chunks
  • Blend the rest of strawberries into a thick puree
  • Fold strawberries/puree into the cream
  • Put in a container and freeze

  It takes about 2-3 hours for it to become soft like a softserve. After freezing overnight I recommend a good 30secs in the microwave as it'll be rock hard.

    But, there has got to be a way using a blender, for quick healthy strawberry ice cream.

      Blend strawberries, mix cream, mix together and freeze.

        Probably best to add ice cubes and skip the freeze.

      I just blend the strawberries (using the ninja) with a little water and sometimes sugar, then put them in ice block moulds, they are great.

      Freeze the straberries, then blend up 60% frozen strawberries, 20% frozen banana, 20% coconut cream. Ad a few dates if it's not sweet enough for you.
