Not bad, but I already bought a heap from the FFT eBay sale. This is slightly cheaper though.

    • That's very useful to know. Thanks for your contribution

yeah i bit, always getting free 8 or 16 sticks but 32 is handy, cheers

  • How does this model compare to the recent Sandisk 64gb model 3-for-1 $19? A few people were reporting issues with the 32gb version but I’m not familiar with the different models

    • It's the same model different capacity….

    • This model 32GB is very good. Never had issues.

      • this is what I was referring to

  • I purchased three of these and I am ready to send them back. They read at 100MB/s but the write is fast for about 15 seconds (33MB/s) and then slows down to ~5MB/s for the remainder of the write. Tested on a few machines with large files.

    • That's interesting. I dont' think usb sticks use cache memory like SSD do they. Who can explain why they work like that?

    • That is because you plugged into a USB 2.0 port. You have to make sure all your machines have USB 3.0 ports.

are you doing the transfer through a hub or a shared USB port? Try unplugging all USB connected peripherals and try the transfer.
Most likely a shared USB bus issue.

I had a similar issue when plugged in to a hub. When I direct connected to my PC I had sustained write speeds.

NOP… USB3 port on my laptop

My 128gig stick in the same brand runs consistently at 30-40MB/s for the whole file transfer.

      You need the 32Gb version.

FYI, this model has average sequential read / write speed of 100MB/s and 12MB /s. Which is super slow write speed in USB3 sticks.

And it dies everytime if you try to run crystaldiskmark or txbench on it. So don't run crystaldiskmark or txbench.

    h2testw has no problem.

Update on trying to get warranty from Sandisk:

After I opened online support, provided problem description.
I was asked for clear pictures for the product.
After I provide some photos and snapshots, I was asked for purchase tax invoice.
I told them I have 9 from shoppingsquare and have tested 5 out of them, all 5 has the problem.
When I tried to submit the tax invoices, I found my account on Sandisk website has been disabled (or password changed),
have to reset the password and found the support question/request has been closed.

Am using lastpass so no it's not I changed the password.

  • Anyone received this product tested it with CrystalDiskMark or TxBench?

For SanDisk 32GB CZ48 Ultra Flash Drive

  • This is the reply I received from Tech Support at Shopping Square.

We have checked your pictures, and those speeds are completely right. Be noted that USB 3.0 does not mean necessaryly that it is faster than USB 2.0, in the below ling you can see some benchmark tests on some flash drives, if you search for the SanDisk Ultra 32GB, you will see a peak write of around 8.45MB/s:
    https://usb.userbenchmark.com/

For a more detailed explanation on this matter, you can directly contact SanDisk Australia here:
    https://kb.sandisk.com/

    • For the MicroSD card, it is Class 10 so it has to meet a minimum sequential write speed of 10MB/s, if not, you have the right to return it for a refund
