Hi all, one of my favourite anime series for a pretty awesome price. Stock is "low" so not sure how many are left. This is an 8 disc collection of both the 1st and 2nd gig series collections. Also available on DVD (Region 2) for cheaper ($45.99) if you prefer.

The blu ray is region B and will work in Australian blu ray players and PS4 (it says region 2 in the product description for the blu ray, this is a misprint). Australia and UK share the same blu ray region, but for DVD's, UK = region 2 and Australia = region 4.

EDIT: This collection doesn't include the solid state society movie. I just checked madman website and their version is 9 discs and does have the solid state society movie but it is nearly $110 plus delivery.

    Doesn't contain the solid state society movie as I first thought. The madman version does, which is 9 discs for the blu-ray and 16 discs for the DVD. The ozgameshop one is 8 discs for blu-ray and 14 discs for DVD.

    Almost pull the trigger but found this was region 2, while madman's was region b (i.e. Australia stock). This deal is only for someone with a region 2 or free player.

      Ah yep, the DVD version is definitely only compatible with a region 2 or region free dvd player. I should have thought about that.

      However, with blu ray discs it's region B which is the same for both Australian and UK blu ray players. So the blu ray will definitely work in an Australian blu ray player. I know it says region 2 in the description for the blu ray on the link, but that is a misprint. Blu ray regions are coded alphabetically, while dvd regions are coded numerically.

      I have bought loads of blu rays from UK and they work on my PS4 and blu ray players.

    DVD regions are different for AUS (Region 4) and UK (Region 2), but Blu-Ray region is the same for both countries. Region B Blu-Ray discs will play on blu-ray players in Australia, NZ, UK, and Europe.

      Some/most Samsung DVD players (and Blu-ray players, but for DVD operation only)can be easily made all region or region free with a remote code.
