    Does it have a metal frame insert, or is it one of those that has straps which connect the back to the cushion allowing you to lean back?

    because this doesnt have legs, it's pretty uncomfortable. you're just sitting on the ground on a cushion. spend this money on a camping chair

        No. Sand is soft enough. Get a good beach shelter and a big towel. A comfy camping chair is a million times better
