  I think your 'How to use the promo code' instructions are incorrect. As per the email, you have to reserve a DVD online before going to the Kiosk.

  On the RedRoom website

  1. Select a Redroom kiosk location and click 'browse movies in this location'
  2. Click 'Rent now' on the movie you want
  3. Go to checkout, apply promo and put CC information

  At the kiosk

  1. Click on 'Pick up'
  2. Swipe your card (same card you use on the website)
  3. Collect the dvd

  That's how I did it last Tuesday. Redroom freebies are different from Oovie freebies.

  I have used the redroom code for the last two weeks without reserving in advance. I think it is just an option that you can use if you wish.
