Apple Card Is Available in Australia?

Just got a notification on my apple wallet that I can apply for the Apple Card. Anyone else got this? I haven’t seen any news about it being available.

Or maybe it was sent to me by mistake? The 3% cash back mentions Walgreens and T-mobile which are not in Australia.

Nope. Do you have your account settings set as US currently?

    • I don’t think so, I can’t seem to check it atm cos I have funds in the account and also it says I have to cancel Apple Music..but I’ve used iTunes gift card from coles before, I would have thought if mine is set to US that it would only accept iTunes gift card from there

  • Maybe something is moving but…the second image speaks about T-mobile stores, not for Australia…

    Nope.

Your device is set to the US region. I can tell that because you also have an Apple Pay Cash card in your wallet.

    • Pay cash appears in my wallet also.
My device is 100% set to Australia so I don’t think pay cash showing is an indicator of their device region.

  • My wallet says I can apply for Apple Card as well. Don't plan on trying to sign up just yet though…

I didn't get a notification, I just went into the Wallet app

It's a well reported bug, it's been happening for many years with the "Apple Cash" function where it shows up in unsupported regions this is also recently extended to the Apple Card as well. Both products have not been rolled out anywhere else internationally and are US only.
