Thanks. Bought the NB 331s. Too rude not to!

    • FWOAR! i bought the 331s back in the black friday sales for 40bux. i feel jibbed :(

  • Link for New Balance Mens 331 doesn't work.

  • US sizes are same as AUS arent they?

    • -5

      Yes.

I'm pretty sure AUS aligns with UK sizing

      • I think we're a bit of a bastard in the sense some stores will use UK and some use US.

      • Majority of brands align with US sizing, as far as I know.

    • That's a tricky question. Very few brands actually use AU sizing. So although, no they're not the same it's very unlikely you ever used AU sizing to begin with. Especially if you only ever buy US shoes.

      • i just buy whatever's cheap from Target or Big W, would they be american sizes?

        • They're probably AU/UK.

This is why the Japanese sizes, again, wins in terms of consistency. They're simply measurements in mm —> 255 = 25.5cm; 260 = 26cm, etc. Makes it so much easier as it's standardised!

      • And measured from where? Full shoe? Inside shoe?
Have you ever heard of the arch measurement and the Brannock device?🤔
Length is one of three measurements only for a great shoe fitting.

        • Yes, I understand shoes have different measurements. But in terms of sizing length, having it tied to a standardised measurement system makes a whole lot more sense than arbitrary women's 8 and men's 6. This doesn't eliminate the issue of shoe fit — it's still important to try them on to see if they fit one's particular foot shape/arch/width/preferences/needs.

        • I just searched up the Brannock device — had never heard of it but have seen it in shoe stores. Yes, it sounds like a much better way to fit a foot to a shoe but does anybody release those measurements on their online stores?

          • +1

@Hamlet: Not precisely. But if you measure your feet it helps you when purchasing shoes.
Some brands have different width for their dhoes such as D, 2E, 4E, 6E.
Buying online is always a risk - best solution is to try on shoes and buy locally.

      • I generally follow EU sizing for consistency too.

    • US sizes are same as AUS arent they?

No, Aussie ones are larger. ;-)

I keep getting re-directed to their homepage when I click on certain products

  • Currently reading 'Shoe Dog' and when I saw the Onitsuka Tiger on OzB, my worlds collided. Great price but feel like I'm betraying Phil Knight if I buy a pair!

More like disrespecting Kihachiro Onitsuka if you don't, since it was his original design!

Good price on the 331. Thanks, OP.

  • How’s the return policy? Haven’t had NB in years. Afraid of sizing incorrectly

    • +1

Pretty sure if you paid by credit card, you can return it in stores. If paid by paypal, you have to return it online and pay for the postage. If you sign for paypal's deal, you can return it for free (paypal will cover the postage).

      • Brilliant. Thanks

Thanks OP, got the amber vans!

  • NB 331 not available for store pickup at all! Additional $10 delivery makes it $30. Is that still worth?

    • Seem to be around $60-70 at most places. So yes, 50% off still shipped to your door.

  • too late for NB 331

  • Hey Guys,

You are able to head in store and order it if they don’t have it there! Free shipping!

  • How are the 331s?

  • I bought the 331s, but there is no way that they are worth $100. They are just like $15 cafe shoes from Kmart.

I returned them so one of you can snap them up now.

  • Purchased the 331s. Let's hope the shipping was worth it

  • I getting annoyed when click and collect is subject to stores availability. At least stores like YD the item gets shipped to the store to collect.

  • Thanks got some vans for the mrs
