    Some people in the past have reported that negotiating with the sales people at JBHiFi can get you 10% off the price even when a sale is not running

    Not sure if you're looking just for new, but apple also has refurbished ones for sale https://www.apple.com/au/shop/refurbished/mac no idea how it compares to sale price though.

    They have that sale constantly so just a matter of waiting for it come back around. Alternatively just find the right salesperson who will do the 10% off without the sale
