This was like $120 a few weeks back. Paying $40 more is a bit… hmmm.

    • No free shipping on that deal

      • Yes there was (with First, but same as this deal)

    • I bought one at that price. It's good for the price, so far. Any questions?

      • Still worth this price?

        • Compared to what? For what purpose? It beats walking!

I wanted something cheap for shorter rides, that fits easily in back of car, and not afraid to leave locked in the city.
I've not seen any better folders at anywhere near the price.

          • @bargaino: i have a folding bike. it was $500 and looks almost identical to this one.

            • @belongsinforums: I am interested in buying one but feel that even if I buy a bike lock I won't have a place to tie it to at work and don't know the rules and laws around tying bikes to gates and stuff when there is no bike rack to secure it to and have seen so many pictures of people losing their bikes or wheels etc I feel like it wouldn't last a month or a year in my area.

Nice idea though.. Definitely beats walking but I wonder how it would do on a step uphill incline as my area has a lot of hills and valleys basically incline and decline central.

              • @AlienC: not so great for steep hills. then again, most bikes are no good for steep hills. the small wheels means you're pedalling a lot more than normal. as long as you're not blocking anything, e.g. taxi access for people in wheelchairs, you should be right to lock it. its a cheap bike. seeing as how its foldable, cant you store it inside work?

Ask your mayor if you can learn by riding the village bicycle

I bought a few weeks back from Kogan under "festive" deal for $116.99, freight free, and I think it is a great bike. Not aluminium but I weighed it in at slightly less than 14kg. Everything fits together solidly. Shimano gears work and I can't fault it. I also have a racing bike and a 1200w e-bike for camparison. Its maybe not a bike for commuting to work a long way?
