CAUTION: Be careful if you are paying with a credit card, it might charge you the full amount. You should be paying for it by e-gift card anyway. The invoice will show $40 but I paid with e-gift card and it only deduct $9.50 since i have 5% staff discount

Was looking for something to add so i meet my spend requirement for bonus points and accidentally stumble upon these great "deal" on BWS.

BWS had these Spend $28 grab this for $12 dollar deals

For some reason instead of becoming $12, they become $10 instead.

And for some even stranger reason, even when I remove everything else in the cart, the case of Iron Jack is still $10. I tried the same with everything else and it doesn't work.

I spend some times working out what happened and I realise that the total only need to be above $28 before discount for these items to become $10.

So you can get 6 pack of Canadian Club and Dry for $10 by adding something that cost $4 or more

Same with 6 pack of Two Sun, Foster's Classic Lager and Strongbow
Blossom Rosé Sparkling Apple Cider. Just add product until the total before discount is $28 or more and they will become $10.
Doesn't seem to work with the Nelson County though.

Pretty sure this is an error and this exact error happened in 2018 and they honour it.

The beer is nothing to write home about but for $10 case it's a bargain.

Don't forget to pay with gift card for 5% off , 2% cashback and recycle the bottles for $2.40 ( if your state have a recycling program).

    Those Rose Ciders are 2+ standard drinks each, solid value at $10 for 6 LOL. Lager is only 0.9 standard drink.

    I can't get an order through at another store! Anyone else managed a 2nd order? Wont work for me at all at any store.

    Just placed an order.. Had issues on the website with paying via paypal and card. Loaded the app up and still a issue on paypal but added my credit card and failed.. tried again and worked. Shows as $10 on my card :0

    FYI.. I used the app.. Added my paypal and my credit card as payments. method seems to work so I didn't bother trying to make it easer.

    1. Select something over $30. Go to your cart
    2. Select payment method as paypal and then remove item from cart
    3. Go to home screen, add that item again and then add the Iron beer. Then go to cart.
    4. Remove expensive item and select to pay (don't change your account you paying with.) Mine goes back to my credit card so I think step 2 might be useless to be honest but I did it just in case lol.

    Bought a $10 gift card to use but wouldn't let me checkout with just that so I linked Paypal.
    Ended up getting charged the extra $32 on Paypal.

      If I changed something on the checkout page, e.g. pick up location or payment type, the page refreshed and the price gets recalculated. Keep an eye on the total cost after you change something…

    Couldn't get the $10 slab by adding and then removing products, it would always change back to full price (using Chrome on Android). So I found 3 bottles of red on clearance for $10 each, added them to the cart with the beer, checked out with PayPal to click and collect at my local and was charged $40 all up. Hell of a deal, thanks OP! If the beer wasn't so average I would have done it twice.

        nope just added the 6 pack of Canadian Club and then the beer to my cart both showed $10 each, removed the CC at the checkout and the beer stayed at $10 used the $10 gift card, invoice says $42 and will be ready to pick up around 10.30am

    I won a free bottle of Bluey beer in your 100 days of summer promotion. But when I try to redeem it, it adds the item to my cart but but charges me full price. Does anyone have the same problem? I called the BWS about it but they didn't fix it.

      I can still do 1xStrongbow for $10 or 2xStrongbow for $25. If they particularly liked the cider then someone could probably put through 4 separate orders and collect a slab for $40 or 6 separate orders and get 2xbonus 6-packs at the currently advertised slab price.

    Bought this last night and my paypal receipt showed I got charged $10, but the emailed invoice from bws showed $40. Checked paypal account and credit card statement this morning and there is no record of the transaction. Have a feeling they won't honour it and it is being reversed?

    Ordered last night a case. A single one out of the deal for the two came up to be $10.
    Proceeded with the payment and received an email confirming that my order was placed and it is $10. The end of the payment page calculated my saving to be $39.
    However, the next came an email from my PayPal account informing me that BWS charged $40 for the pleasure of drinking Iron Jack.
    I've felt the iron in my mouth already without even drinking it.
    So first thing this morning I've called their help line - 1300 138 297.
    They have tried to check whether the store would honour the $10 order. I wasn't sure I needed it at all and I've just asked for the order to be cancelled and $40 to be refunded to my PayPal account.
    All was done in less than 5 minutes.

    Just picked up my slab. She had to call head office. They would only honor one slab . I didn't get a 40 dollar refund on the second slab, only 10$. They did not allow for a swap, I could only get the iron jack.
