    Mine has been great

Out of interest, how quickly does it lock onto your weight?

I've found multiple different sets of electronic scales to lock onto your weight far too quickly. Either that, or they are setting their tare (0 point) too quickly. To the point where if you step on get a reading, step off, let it reset, step on, get a reading, repeat repeat. You end up with 6 readings spanning almost a kilo.

I gave up and went back to analogue.

      • +1

Pretty quickly but I've found it pretty consistent

      • +1

its quick, and the app lets you delete incorrect or duplicate readings anyway.

        • Deleting a record is one thing. But if you take 6 readings in a row that are X.1, X.8, X.0, X.3, X.7 which one to you keep? That's the problem.

          • +5

            @nzcoops: The lowest one, obviously.

            • @bargaino: I always take the highest for the day. But it's really not like that even shuffling feet around it's usually the same

    Sigh, why not.

      Sigh, might as well.

I might need a new one. Mine has been reading high for a little while now

    • What will you do when this one reads high as well?

  • Does the app talk to the Apple health app?

    • Just checked, it seems that it does. I mean I can see my weight in the health app if this is what you wanted to know?

      • +1

You can get BMI and body fat percentage in there as well.

  • Aaaaand it's gone

  • YMMV but the bluetooth on mine stopped working after 3 months (the measurements stopped syncing to my phone)

Amazon has kindly agreed to a refund though so I can't complain

  • Ah missed it :(

  • No more no more

  • +1

Does this sync with fitbit or myfitnesspal?

  • Missed is again

    • +2

      Missed it by…that much

  • +2

Bought one, don't think I really need it, but $9.

  • I have one of these and it’s pretty good. Bluetooth sync is very fast and the weight shown is very consistent too. Highly recommend for this price!

  • Any difference between the black one and the white one besides the colour?

    • +5

The Black model has improved stealth properties.

    • +1

      Black shows up dust better

Missed it..what waiting list are you talking about in the OP?

I really want to get one!!!

  • +4

Black one reverted to $16, white one to $22+

Feel like I got an extra bargain buying white.

  • Thanks OP this is going to make a great valentines day gift for my wife!

  • Ok ok app is used to sync to scales, it requires phone to have Bluetooth and location turned on to pair/sync. If location is subsequently turned off you just get picture of a foot tapping on the scale trying to pair.

Service from AstiVita is very good!

  • Can someone upload the manual for me and the app name so that I can get mine connected to the app ? I have the box but I seem to have misplaced my manual when I was moving home.

    • +1

I don't have the manual but the app is "okok international"

      Android
      Apple

  • Can't get the "exotic" measurements to work eg. fat %, muscle density etc. And it's made for feet smaller than size 12-13!! Glad I only paid $8 for it.
