I need to get an HD set top box for my mum to use with her DVD recorder. She's already got a small HD LCD tv in her room, but needs a set top box to plug into the analog dvd recorder, to record digital/HD channels.
Does not want pvr function.
Needs to be easy to use. Nice remote, with button labels not too tiny. As cheap as possible.
Preferably to be bought today or tomorrow, not keen on online purchase with long delivery time.

Ok, no reponses, but i went shopping today, and the cheapest i could find for an HD set top box, was $48. It was a Pico brand from WOW sight and sound. Looked very similar to the Grundig brand one at Harvey's, for $68. They are very small.
The good guys had the biggest range, i think they had one for $49, or $59.
Officeworks also have an Olin for $55, with USB recording.
