Swann Camera Lens Fogged out

Hi Guys,

Just want to check if anyone ever experience this?

Last week, after the rain one of my lenses completely fogged out "Condensation" and not sure what to do with it?

Anyone experienced that before? What shall i do?

  • It's definitely an outdoor camera right?

  • 100% yes,

    Swann 8 Channel 1080p 1TB DVR with 8 x PRO-1080MSB Thermal Motion Sensing Cameras (SWDVK-845808V)

  • I have 8 cameras, 4 of them exposed to rain directly and all works perfectly. This is the only one that got foggy!

    • Hit the Manu up for a free replacement

      • I still have replacement warranty. You think i should do that?

  • You can try and disassemble it and clean the lens then replace the rubber seal.

    • Might return it since i got 3 years replacement warranty

  • if inside the lens, go for warranty, if outside then lens, try antifog spray.

    • Thanks for that, will do :)

  • Your product is IP66 rated which is pretty good dust and water protection. Seal has failed somewhere, manufacturer fault for sure.

    • Legend :) thanks

  • So Harvey Norman stated because i purchased 3 years extra replacement warranty, i would need to return the whole 8 cameras & DVR back to give me a new one!

I was like mate, just replace the camera as i can't be bothered to get all the cameras down from my house.

They were like unfortunately no and need to bring the whole package!
