MacBook Deal Suggestions/Pricing

Hey guys,

My girlfriend is looking to buy a MacBook for uni, I’m pretty sure she would be fine with a MacBook Air (medicine at Uni). So not too fussed with specs.
Through student discount and the current deal at Apple she can purchase a MacBook Air, 13” 2019 model, i5 1.6GHz for $1,380 and a pair of beats headphones with RRP ~$500.

I know very little about Macs so to me the specs look horrible, but I know Apple is optimised quite well and that’s a lot faster on a Mac than it would be on a windows PC.

Please save the “buy a PC” “Mac is overpriced rubbish”, I know, but it’s not for me :)

    How are you getting the MacBook down to $1,380? On the Apple Store website it's A$1,549.00 after student discounts.

        The difference you’re paying for the beats headphones so the total will be $1549

    Try to convince her not to get a pair of beats headphones. I assume she is looking for beats pro judging by the price. There are a lot of headphones out there that looks great and sound amazing and cost less than $500 and will sound way better.

    I know you are asking about MacBook, but you mentioned beats headphones.

      Oh hey man, I understand, I’m more of a fan of Audio Technical and Sennheiser, however the beats are free with the laptop, they’re stylish and free so I’m sure she won’t mind haha
