Updating complaints made to Fair Trading

Hi

I made a complaint to fair trading (I don't really want to go into detail here about the complaint or the company involved).

Anyway, I was wondering, after initial complaint is made and they give you case number etc, can you update the complaint online if other activities have happened? Or should I call them? Or do I wait for them to contact me?

      yeah I will do that. It was 7pm when I wrote it so they would not have been open. Thought there might have been a way to update the case online.
      I will wait till early next week to call them - complaint was only made early this week

  • you can tell to the magistrate on the hearing day, except if you want to cancel your complaint. on the first hearing day, normally the magistrate will asked both parties to discuss the case. in my case, the c/p prefer magistrate to decide our case, then the magistrate doesnt have time and asked both of us coming back 1 month later, then the c/p didn't came and i got the decision in my favour.
