Moving Landline Number to Mobile

Please advise, I am joining the NBN and getting rid of ADSL. I have a Phone line which is $30 dollars a month, I want to get rid of the phone completely and just have a mobile instead but I want to move the fixed landline number to mobile. Is that possible with Amaysim/Jennie?

Thank you, also can someone recommend me the cheapest NBN provider too, would like to pay less than $50 a month.

No, not possible. You'll have to port landline to voip (Mynetfone/Siptalk?) and forward it to your mobile for the most cost effective way of being able to continue to receive calls on your landline number.

Maybe consider Aussie broadband with included landline port to their voip for $60/mth, 100gb, 25/5 speed.

  • Have a look at siptalk.com.au.

  • I have ported my landline to MNF using their whirlpool saver plan.
Best bit of hardware has been buying a used E5186 modem and putting a sim card in it and connected it to my cordless phone + old voip box. local calls go out via the sim card. only international are routed over voip. works well.
