  • Compare to Motorola G7 Power?

  • $305 shipped with TECO8

Still, $398 @ Mobiciti ($386.06 with POOL3), $399 @ Officeworks… Not exactly heaps more for local stock with full warranty

    • +1

Still nearly $100 more, that's a fair chunk.
None available online or locally for me at Officeworks

      • Missing out on NFC is not worth the $100 saving imo

  • Apart from the dual sim, how does this compare to the Samsung Galaxy A30 for $249?

  • geezus you couldn't touch a motorola these days unless you're in dire need of a phone. motorola drop the phone like a hot potato

i've got a Moto X Style sitting here doing SFA with no updates, even for security. just abandoned. shame too, for a decent handset originally.

I left Motorola because of promised updates never materialising . It has been that way for quite some time . My 18month old Nokia now sports android 10 but I do miss the shake on torch and especially the notification LED of the Motorola . I still rate Motorola but if you value security updates or any hope of O.S. updates they are a very poor choice .

      • There are worse manufacturers who care even less about updates

It does seem quite endemic in the industry . I bought my first Motorola when they were owned by Google and had high hopes . Sadly they sold it off , I thought it was a good fit and would go on to do great things .

the phones they sell, does it come with australian or overseas plugs?

    • Most likely a EU charger, but might get an AU adapter thrown in.

I used to be concerned about buying grey import phones for this reason ( as well as warranty ), but after using both a Blitzwolf BW-S6 and a Xiaomi power strip/board no issues with charging.

Now after getting 4 grey import phones ( Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Moto G5 +, Nokia 6.1, Xiaomi Mi A2 ), now over 2 yrs. on the oldest RN4 and all others are still working 100%, so well worth the savings unless maybe it's your main and only phone that you will heavily rely on.

Buy the Redmi note 8T has B28 and NFC for about $250
It has 2 sim cards and also a dedicated sd card slot

    • That would also be a nice phone for the $, and maybe a bit longer software support.

Have you got a link for this deal?

    • not too many new/current phones with 3 slots these days.. a lot are shifting to hybrid
      moto used to do it
