Pick it up for $5.54 few months back. Awesome fun in co-op. A no brainer at $1.99. Supporting an aussie dev too.

….and, very soon, will be a PHYSICAL Switch release via 1PrintGames. As a Switch collector, this makes me very, VERY happy! :-D

I bought this when it was around $5 and thought it was worth every cent. At $1.99 its truly a bargain.

    • +2

Thanks. we have to experiment with pricing as visibility is tough when an older title.

$2 for a well recieved co-op Switch game made in Australia? Shut up and take my money.

    • +4

      Money taken… nom nom nom

  • +6

Any single player value at all? I have a switch lite, and no friends.

    • +2

Yeah, you can play it by yourself as a puzzle game. There is a single player mode where you control two cubes by yourself (a bit like Brothers).

Edit: To confirm single player mode.

  • Thanks OP! Love a good coop game, at $2 I can't resist. Used my gold points and only paid $0.39 too, big win!

  • Thanks, just bought! About to finish overcooked with wife. This could be a good next game, looks like a lot of fun!

  • +1

Never heard of it. Cost me 49c with coins. Thanks OP!

Is this fun co-op with happy positive reinforcement and a strong sense of achievement or bad co-op like Overcooked where you bring up old arguments with your partner about that time on holiday and how you just don't listen to me Matthew I want a divorce

    • +4

There is a lot of killing each other accidentally (or intentionally!), but It's far less of a pressure-cooker environment than Overcooked, so I think your marriage would be safe with this one! :)

    • +3

It's more of a puzzle co-op than a stressful timer countdown co-op game.

      • +2

thanks for the nice comments. yes this is a much more puzzle based game. and each level is small. it can be frustrating but not a huge loss of time when you fail. also good for kids / older players too.

100% buying this when I get home.

Been meaning to pick this up for a while but missed the last deal. My wife and I had some good fun with the demo, no brainer at this price.

    • Glad to hear the demo is doing it's job

  • +1

Niiice. I have enough Gold Points in my account to get this for just 90c.

    • Anyone know if the developers take a hit when paying with Gold Points?

There's not a lot of margin in $1.99 games so I'd rather save my points if it's coming out of their pocket as well…

      • I wouldn't imagine so, but I'd be interested to know this as well

  • They've announced the release date for their new game 'moving out'. Looks like a heap of fun.

  • +1

Thanks used 199 gold points so paid nothing.

Confirmed can play party mode on a switch lite. Left and right joy sticks controls cubes 1 and 2. Hold ZL or ZR + L/R joy stick to control cubes 3 and 4.

    • just did the same

  • This was just announced for Xbox Game Pass & PC if you have those, otherwise this is a steal.

  • "In order to continue, please access Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch console linked to this Nintendo Account."

Going to be buying a Switch soon, is there any workaround to get this deal?

Is there a gifting system where I could get a friend to buy and hold it then gift it to me in a few weeks? Or anything like that?

    • +1

Not really, unless your friend doesn't have the game, and doesn't want it. (If they don't have the game, you could link your account to their Switch and then purchase it online through the website. But if they already own the game, you won't be able to purchase it, even through the website.)

      • so a switch can have multiple accounts linked at once, and also be de-linked and have the link transferred to another switch?

        • +1

          Yes, you can.

The only issue, as I mentioned, is that the eShop will check all accounts linked to that Switch (as primary) when checking if a game is owned - so you can't purchase a game that is already owned by an account on that Switch.

If your friend doesn't own the game (and doesn't want it), then you'll be fine! :)

          • @caprimulgus: thank you!

            • +1

              @xrailgun: No worries!

Worst comes to worst, the game will definitely go on sale again, so it's not a big deal if you miss it this time.

But if you can arrange it, then great, because then you will be able to play it immediately when you get your Switch! Enjoy! :)

          • @caprimulgus:

Unlink account via console (website has limited unlinks) purchase games log back into the eShop on the console and it auto relinks.

            • @sss333: Ah, wont that delete their user data? (I thought you could no longer unlink an account from the Switch, and could only delete the user entirely…if not not, my bad!)

Either way, is it really worth the hassle for your friend unlinking their own account just so you can buy a game that will go on sale several times a year anyway?

              • +1

@caprimulgus: No, you just deregister primary console from the eShop settings menu, then another user can buy it, the account stays and will automatically re-register as primary when you login to the eShop.

Dev here: positive word of mouth really helps in the long run. thanks Ozbargain!

I have this game on Xbox one already. Now for $1.99, I also got it for my Switch

    • awwww yissss. double dipping :)

      • I don’t even know the level I’m dipping anymore. Got it on Xbox Games with Gold, Switch, the Fire Relief Humble Bundle and now it’s on Game Pass.

  • +1

Purchased. Better yet I've still got $60 of credit in my account when the Nintendo shop cards were discounted just before christmas.

  • Picked this up at $6 bucks great deal

  • I bought it purely from the trailer when it was around $6 and it was a great deal then. Keep it up !

  • Love that the dev is on here commenting. That's enough to sway me to try it out :)

  • We played the demo and loved it so decided to buy. Unfortunately the progress doesn’t seem to carry over to the full version of the game. Is there any way to skip the first 10 levels? @MrTruffle

    • The first 10 take about 20 minutes at most though?

  • Damn, missed the steam sale from 2 weeks ago. @Dev will a sale come back anytime soon?
    Thanks!
