about the cheapest you're going to get right now on a 4k/60 ips 27" panel

  • excellent specs for the price and delivery

looks like this is the service center:

    AGOS NETWORK PTY LTD
    Address
    Unit 2/3 Voyager Circuit
    Glendenning NSW 2761

so if you live around here you'll be ok

  • Really wish this thing has HDR though honestly, with the specs, if it actually has HDR, it would be a hacked/emulated one, rather than true HDR.

    Good monitor stand.

  • This can be used on a VESA mount right?

    • Yes. I have hooked it up an arm.

Looks like it's only 70c more for non plus memebers using Pool3

    • +1

Making it back 30c at a time.

  • What a timing. I just got the U2790VQ for $350 and the stand is not as good as this.

    • hahaaa bad luck. How do you find the display clarity?

      • +1

I found it pretty good out of the box. Watched a couple of 4K videos and images are pretty impressive. I use mine primarily for work so don't care about the refresh rate much.

Same as @papertronic. Excellent. I use it for work, but mostly on 2K. Can't work on 4K 27 inches. I have a convenient script to switch when I need it.

  • +1

4k is probably too small unless you are at 30". Don't forget it is 4x 1080p and at 30" is is 4x 15" screens and even that is small when smallest 1080p monitor is 21.5" although you can argue 1080p at 19" is acceptable.

    • +2

Too small with native resolution. Its very good when you use scaling

      • +1

Running a couple of 27" 4K monitors at work with 125% scaling, no issues here

      • I have set this up default to 2K. I'll try scaling.

    It's not 10 bit. It's 8 bit + FRC.

  • Just bought one but reckon it might be a pricing error? It’s $100 cheaper than anywhere else.

    • Price back up to $439.

    • Mine is shipped ☺️

        So is mine 😅

  • How would this screen compare in quality to the LG 32QK500? Which one would be the better buy? Just want it mainly for general home use, internet surfing and watching movies. No gaming.

Oh I just noticed the Futu Online ebay store have dropped the price on the LG monitor and can now get it for $303 so only a few $ more than the AOC.

    • 2k vs 4k

      • So quality wise the AOC would be better? And only reason to go the LG would be if wanting larger screen size?

  • How do people know about these flash sales? do they get emails or?
