    How is this a deal!!

Plans are expensive and u have to stay connected for 24/36 months!! 24/36 MONTHS!!

If you port out in first month, you only pay $50+$20x36=$770, I think it is a deal.

You have to stay connected for 24/36 months if you want the discounted price. The minute you cancel the plan, you gotta pay the full RRP of the phone!

        • I agree this is far from a deal over $2500 for this device if on the lowest plan telstra has

    Store in title….

We all know why they are discounting S10s now…. So it'd be pretty silly to jump on a 2-3 year plan now.

  • I think it is a deal if you really want this s10. But don’t go for more than 24m plan.

36 month plan!!?? In 2020? Nup

On top of it you have to add a plan as well and min plan cost is $50, so monthly total would be $70/$80

I would not even wish this 'deal' on my greatest enemy…

Signing up to a 36mo contract is absolutely insane, I wouldn't even recommend a 24mo plan for the majority of people.

That's before considering you're still eventually paying $720 for a phone that is about to be superseded and is already being sold for ~$850, imagine the drop when the S20 comes out.

You'd probably be better off waiting for when people sell their 50% off Samsung codes when the new phones get released and seeing how much it'd cost you.

  • Not a deal at all and the title is misleading as you need to add another $50 p/m at least for 24/36m which works out to be 2k+ for an S10

  • Minimum $80/month over 24 months for a phone about to be superseded? Lol no thanks…

    this ain't no deal

  • We get a phone credit of $18 and $27 on 36 and 24 months plan. There are no early termination fees so we pay for phone plans month to month and remaining handset cost.
If I cancel 6 months on 36 months plans (30x18)540+(20x30)600+ $50= 1190 and 24 months plan (18x27)486+(18x30)540+$50= $1076. I ended up getting iPhone 11 as it was on the same plan and better resale. I will sell 11 after s20 is out so I can get a cheaper s10 upfront :P. s20 will be really expensive like the same price 11 pro.
