      They still appear backed up from the previous deal. I wouldn't order these unless you are prepared to wait or put up with the hassles in ordering ie. codes not working.

          Apparently having any opinion other than 'ooooh this deal is great' is trolling. The entire negative/positive system relies on people being able to express a valid negative without being flamed. Cittris seems to think not though, and trolls while calling others a troll, lol.

      I own a pair and don't regret paying $20 for them.
      Sure I could have got some double pluggers or beachcombers for 1/4 of the price, but at least now I don't look like I should be wearing trackies standing in the queue at Centrelink.

    I, too, am waiting for my thongs from their last promotion.

    I don't mind waiting, as I don't actually need the thongs now…and I do not doubt that they will deliver the thongs.
    This doesn't change the fact that the wait time is UNACCEPTABLE. But will I do anything about it? Probably not. I mean either I can try and get a refund or wait. And I do want my thongs! So I'll just wait.

    I also find it unacceptable that OzThongs feels that it is appropriate for the only product updates to be made via their Facebook page, failing to realise that NOT ALL CUSTOMERS HAVE FACEBOOK!!!

    If you DO mind waiting…I wouldn't recommend you buy this deal.

    If you didn't buy them during the last promo and want to buy them now, here's something that might help you make the decision whether to jump on now (Apart from the obvious wait time):

    Colours and sizes available from the last time can be seen at http://www.livingsocial.ozthongs.com.au/ …IF anyone has bought it this time around..when you do get your voucher, please do share the website to check out colours…especially since their saying there are more colours available?

    At least you will know whether or not you have your size/colour before you spend this $26.

    And for those people who comment on the price of these..don't bother..because these ARE CHEAP! Whether or not you want to spend money on a pair of havaianas or just buy some other cheapo pair of thongs… that is your PERSONAL choice… for those that DO WANT to buy a pair of havaianas, $13 DELIVERED for a pair is probably close to as cheap as it gets…so it is a bargain. Unfortunately tough, you probably will have to expect to wait a heck of a while for these to reach you.

      Look… I don't recommend that people buy this because yes…the wait time is ridiculous (I'm still waiting for mine to come) and the service is horrible (automated responses and long waiting time). However, as you can see with this..already 12k people have bought it…2 pairs each… that's 24k pairs to be sent off…you definitely expect them to be backlogged.

      In saying that tough…you can't neg this unless you can prove that you can buy a pair of havaianas for cheaper elsewhere. I think its a criminal offence if you don't get your goods…so if you buy these..it is likely they will get to you…in what..4-6 weeks? The question is…is the wait worth the savings. A deal is still a deal.

    Excuse my language, but this deal really pi$$es me right off. The deal price is fine, but their service is crap, wait till is even more crapper, and now they are potentially going to sell another 40-off thousand pairs of thongs which i'm sure will increase our waiting time from the first deal.
    I find it also really unprofessional that they only use facebook for updates as they don't take phone calls or emails. But hey, its not Summer yet (near Spring though, i had my old thongs on today here in Brissy) so would LOVE to have my Havaianas on my little feet before Winter comes right back around.
    Think i needed to vent :) Anyways, its only been a month, we will see how long they take to arrive (from the first order)….!

    I'm happy. I got this email on Friday (bought the last deal), I don't need mine till summer. I do think they should advertise the delivery time though.

    Still haven't received my order from the previous deal! I emailed them and they said that the processing time is going to be 4-6 weeks due to the overwhelming number of sales.

    They haven't even fulfil the delivery of their existing customers and now they taking up even more orders?!

    With all the reports of people not receiving their goods, has anyone tried to verify if this is a scam or not? Should alarm bells be ringing?

    Especially seeing they have no contact details besides facebook…

      They do have an email and phone number, but they don't use it. I personally don't think its a scam, but a way of making some really good cash and not providing a fast enough turn around time for purchases (i.e. i have sold 40000 thongs, so i will purchase/order these from our wholesaler, when we receive them in +4weeks time, we will distribute them).
      BAH!

    I jumped on the first Havaianas deal back in the beginning of August. Got an email from Ozthongs two days ago saying my order has been put on hold because, and I quote:

    "Either invalid or already used coupon code supplied, sorry."

    Well, they can't be as sorry as I am. The code I used was the one I was sent when I took up the offer. And if the code was wrong why did my order go through in the first place? Anyway, I spent all day yesterday calling them but only getting an answering machine. Left a message and, surprise surprise, they haven't called back. After reading the comments on here I don't think I'll bother calling them again.

    Update: Went on their Facebook page and they are telling people who got the on hold email to re-order. I just re-ordered, will see what happens now.

      Just reordered for the third time in a row, with all previous orders being rejected thanks to the same reason above.

      They don't reply to my emails regarding refunds, their facebook page is also missing and the voucher will expire in a week. This is a joke.
