Sorry to all who will miss out on this deal as a result of my "Broden-ing" at least I won't be eBaying them!
I've lost track of the number of transactions I managed to get through on my various accounts and in various cities!

    • Don't beat yourself up too much, I suspect you had a LOT of help! ;)

      • Don't worry, I'm not THAT sorry…
I'm actually thinking of all the nice drills and saws I can now justify buying instead of looking at Ozito's!

        • +2

LOL, I'm just gonna buy more Ozito's! :)

Damn, this offer is too attractive. I believe Telstra will report a net loss this financial year.

i think that they mush have some sort of agreement with bunnings

  • I just brought some from Brisbane, maybe change the default location, they are still available in Bris

  • ITS not sold out you just have to change your location to Brisbane or Perth

  • Perth is all that's left at this stage. Poor bastards.

    • The will be saying the same to u when urz doesnt work on the east cost. :p

      • +3

They're too far away for me to hear them laughing so… it's all good! :)

    • And I assume this because they're still quite early in the morning. They must be upset waking up and noticed that their "share" has been ozbargauned! :p

  • I bought two of the deals in a row.. using the same details.. It seems work ok (managed to check out), but they haven't billed me yet so not sure whether I managed to get all of them..

edit: I bought in total $160 worth of gift cards for $80..

  • +1

Well just got up in Perth , still some left thanks for leaving
    Some for me

  • Perth now sold out.

  • all gone in perth now too.

    beaten by 11 seconds… :p

  • Won't be surprise when sensis sent out cancellation for whom have purchased more than 2.

    • If that happens then I would be upset.

    • Received 2 confirmation with redemption code. So in total got 4 X $20($40) value cards. :-)

  • Thanks for the heads up dy4me - grabbed 1 for me and 1 for the old man ; )

  • I purchased two. Received a Paypal receipt but no confirmation email. Did everyone else receive confirmation emails?

    • Wait 10 mins and it should be there!

      • i have received pal pay confirmation for 2 but only 1 confirmation from yellow pages ?

    • Just got confirmation :) Three hours after I purchased the gift cards.

Offered jet flight simulator, wow, tempted as it is only $69, always wanted to feel what it was like in one of these.

  • Thanks to OP for posting.
    Just got an E-Mail.
    "Great news!
The Yellow Pages Offer you ordered has now closed and is going ahead.
Your credit card has been charged $40.00 AUD."

  • Just received a PDF - it says "If the offer is delivered to you simply keep this voucher as a proof of purchase.".

    Then it says:

    How To Redeem

    Step 1:
    Print out this Offer.

    Step 2:
Present the Offer at the venue at the address displayed below.

    Step 3:
    Enjoy your Offer!

The "address displayed below" says "Redeemable From: None - Bunnings Warehouse"…

I assume that we actually get a gift card in the mail, and this is just proof of purchase?

    • yeah, I reckon.. the system is set up like Scoopon etc though, so future deals are likly to be printable

      • +2

on the voucher it has a voucher number and a pin code ?

        • Yep.

    • I received the PDF file as well.

I am wondering do we just need to wait for the $40 gift card/voucher to arrive in the mail; or
Do we need to bring this PDF into a Bunnings store, have the counter staff redeem it, and then present us with the $40 card/voucher?

      Bit confused..

      • This is going to be interesting. Do we:

        a. hit someone up for the real cards (like go to bunnings with the code and pin),
        b. just use the printout or
        c. wait the 10 days the T&C mention and have it automatically delivered?

        Fun times!

      • +1

The details are all in the PDF attachment - There is a redemption code and a PIN number.
By the looks of things, the bunnings registers would be setup with an option for different types of vouchers. This type requires the code and PIN. (as opposed to the normal plastic ones that are activated once purchased, and then just scanned when you want to use them)

Looks like the T&C are a mix between what it says on the physical cards, and the standard YellowPagesOffers T&C's..
Dunno, I'm just going to do what it says and take the printout in. (Printed 4 pages on one sheet, so it's nice and small to keep in the wallet :)

  • can I buy it from Perth but use it in Brisbane?

    • +5

greed is an evil thing. Poor west cost ppl. I posted so that every1 gets a go. Hogging up the deal is kinda selfish!

      • -1

Didn't buy any from west coast, competed only with people from the same timezone???

        • +1

          lol

  • got email from them. It is just a pdf file, not the actual card as promised. Would like to give this to my father

    • +2

Print the Pdf, take it into bunnings, purchase a gift card. Problem solved…?

  • +2

I just rang Yellow Pages Offers support, and the guy said that you should just be able to take it to Bunnings to redeem for the gift card…will try in my lunch break and report back!

    • So are we getting the cards as well?

I purchased 2 lots (ie. 4 x $20 cards assumedly), and received 2 PDF files in 2 separate emails, yet the voucher codes in the 2 PDF's were the same….

      • I ordered the same as you, and I also received 2 PDF files in 2 separate emails, but the voucher codes in the 2 PDF's were different, yet the pins for each PDF were the same - eg: My PDF has 2 different redemption codes, but both have the same PIN; my dad's PDF also has 2 different redemption codes, but both have the same PIN.

        • Same two lots of two. Lot 1, same pins, different codes. Lot 2, same pins, different codes.
Lot 1 pin different to Lot 2.

      • I bought two lots and my codes and pins are very different.

    • So they won't deliver the cards?

      • Don't be surprised if they don't. The deal was good enough already (50% off!)

    • let us know if this is the case…having trouble to find out how to use~~

Someone below mentioned there will be actual Gift Card sent out by yellowpages…
but Dont see that written in the PDF from email.

  • +1

it says in the terms and conditions will be sent out within 10 days

  • +9

Just rung up Bunnings. You have to wait for the physical cards to come in the mail, the email does not serve as the vouchers. Basically YellowPages bought the gift cards for full price and is selling them for a subsidized price for some reason or another. Has nothing to do with Bunnings - you can just use them at their stores anywhere in the country

    • Thanks

    • Oh.. When i called up, our Bunnings told me that they signed up with Yellow pages to an advertising deal on their group buying website..

      Time will tell i suppose..

Don't really know why Bunnings would need 50% off advertising deals tho.. everyone knows about them..
I still would have bought them for 20%off!

      • Its most certainly subsidized by Yellowpages/Sensis as a way to get subscribers. There group buying outfit isn't doing that great.

        • +1

I for one didn't even know they had one until today.
I assumed it was a site launch offer!

        • I think we're getting a glimpse at a last-ditch effort to breathe life into their site. :)

        • The $10 10kg M&Ms (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/46153) was their site launch offer.

  • i have in 1 email 2vouchers in one pdf files and different code but same pins….

    • same. I ordered 2 lot (2x card and 2x cards), but only 1 lot came up in the email. Not sure whether they would honor for the other transaction

      • check how much they charged you

      • is the pdf only have 1 page?
I got 1 email…with 2 page pdf with the password and code in it.

But dont know how to redeem it !!

        • +1

Refer to "bayan92 21 min ago" above

  • -6

I bought 100 cards - all have different voucher code and pins - That was nice dream!

    • Broden is that you? :)

    • +1

They see you trollin', they hatin'…

  • Received mine :)

    • Me too. lol.

  • +10

OK - just got back from Bunnings…

It appears you cannot swap these at a store - you must wait for the actual gift card to be delivered.

Spoke to a girl who then called on her boss to come over, who then called his boss, who was told it was all done through the corporate channels, and did not have anything to do with the stores per se.

  • EXPIRED IN 2 HOURS.

Dammit now I'm gonna be checking this site every hour to make sure I don't miss the best deals :(

    • You weren't already doing that??
I check every 5-10 minutes and I still miss some of the amazing deals!

  • -1

    No SA?

  • Anyone else still awaiting confirmation email?
My money got taken out from paypal at 11:46am and no confirmation emails yet.

    • Got my PDF laden email. Check your junk mailbox or the like. I'd say that if you don't get it by COB, email them.

    • i'm also waiting for the email.still havent got yet

      • Has your money been taken out?
        Mine says "completed" in paypal.

        • My wife just joined paypal. Message said completed in paypal but have not received any pdf.

    • Confirmation email arrived almost immediately, followed a few hours later by the PDF "voucher", which isn't the real thing; have to wait for the gift card by snail mail, see bayan92 above. I'd say check your spam folder.

  • Damn it, this would have made an awesome Fathers day gift.

  • FYI

Thank you for contacting Yellow Pages Offers.

    • +1

      Thanks yellowpagesoffers :D

Feel free to post similar deals!

    • Thanks, this saved me a trip but your email is rather suggestive of collecting the card at any bunning branches.

  • Whoops, already gone

  • Anyone receive the cards in the mail yet? Initially had a building project for the weekend but will now wait till the cards come :)

  • +1

My bunning cards arrived. It is in $20 each which is handy.

    • -1

I think "It is in $20 each" could do with some clarification. :)

      • +1

I'm smart enough to know what he means. :)

    • Mine arrived today also (Melbourne)

  • Received mine today, it came as individual $20.00 gift cards.

    • So 2 x $20 gift cards per order? If so that's pretty sweet if the $9.95 change applies per card.

Not only do you pay half the price for the cards but you only need to use a little more than half of it and get the rest back in change.

Effectively, if you get lucky, you spend $20.10 and get $19.90 in change. This'd mean that given an outlay of $20 you just paid 10c for $20.10 of expenditure… or is Monday still having its evil ways with my brain?
