Salary sacrifice of health insurance

Anyone who knows if you can add health insurance to salary sacrifice?

Is it allowed under Law?

Possibly a long shot, but I reckon you employer might know.

It’s employer based. Call your HR. We can’t salary sacrifice it at my work, but our payroll has reciprocal agreements with many health insurers so your premium can come out of your pay automatically (post tax).

Nope - you’d end up paying fringe benefits tax which would far outweigh any benefit

  You don't seem to understand that people only salary sacrifice allowable items if their top tax rate is greater than the fringe benefits tax (15%).
