  Writes at 5MB/s. That's about 1hr 45m to write the entire thing. Reads at 10MB/s, so around 53 mins to copy 32GB off of it.

  For $38 without delivery at MSY you can get a Patriot 32GB Xporter FLEX which reads at 20MB/s (write speed not advertised).

  Pretty budget kingston model usb, otherwise good for the price. But with 32gb flash drives you really need better read/write speeds…

  I have a 16GB that looks like this as I assume it's from the same line. Would not buy again. Waaaay too slow. :(

  I had one that looks like this as well, bought around 3-4 years ago (dead now). It had the strange firmware that made it appear like two drives: a normal USB drive, plus a CD drive containing some uselessware that you can't remove.

  Of course, I have no idea whether this particular drive has the same annoyance.
