  • Does this include the Student store?

    Edit - no it doesn’t.

TA, please post some nice deals for E495/595 now to make this deal sweet.

    • That would be amazing

    • Yeah I recently bought an E495 and an E595. If TA can get a decent deal with this cash back I might get a 3rd one and make the wife happy.

  • Wow would it stack with the other offer since the coupon code is there? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/518716?

  • +1

I doubt there'll be any TA specials for the E495/E595 deals for this increased amount of cashback (but I'm super happy to be proven wrong looks at TA)

But this will make the current ThinkPad E14 deal (courtesy of TA) better for those who needs to go Intel.

  • Just a question on Cashrewards. Who is it who is making this offer? In this case is it Cashrewards or Lenovo? If I take the offer up, is the "contract" with Cashrewards or Lenovo?

Asking because I'm currently in dispute over a previous "Cashrewards" offer (not Lenovo) where I made the decision to purchase based on the promised cash back, I fullfilled ALL conditions of the offer, but the rebate is being refused with no reason supplied.

Unfortunately don't expect these too soon. The current issues are causing problems with dispatch and delivery times. Currently lenovo are saying "ships in more than 4 weeks" on their order page, whatever "more" is.

    • Yeah these wait times are a killer!

  • Damn I just ordered a Lenovo with 7% cashback on Saturday. I could get an extra $70 if I cancel it and order it again now. Or is it worth contacting CR and seeing if I can get this rate instead?

  • +1

Last time I tried to claim cashback from a Lenovo purchase, it showed on CR that I had accessed the site and everything, never got tracked. I contacted them within the correct time period and I received the confirmation email saying they've received my claim and will contact me back. Never got contacted back by CR and the time period to 'contest' a reward had expired.
Anyone else had issues with Lenovo cashback just wondering?

    • I purchased 2 in November in 2 transactions and both were tracked and paid with CR

    • +1

I also made a purchase in Nov. It was only tracked after I made an enquiry. And now still have not been paid, already overdue by a week.

      • My cashback issue has been resolved. Thanks TA for the quick follow-up. Cheers.

    • I'm having issues with Cashrewards as well, although not on a Lenovo purchase. Purchase was tracked. I fulfilled all conditions. Cash back refused with NO explanation as to why. Seems to be a recurring theme - I'm seeing more and more people complaining about issues with Cashback … …

    • +1

My small purchases track no problem. Larger ones always seem to have an issue.

Good deal if you have a cc with price protection. Buy it more expensive now with the cashback, then claim pp when it goes on sale. Double discount.

    • Which credit card has longer price protection period?

      • +1

used to be Coles 24 months
        then 28degrees 12 months
both now not issuing new PP policies tho

i think Citibank had for 3-6 months last time i checked 2019

        • Cheers for info.

  • Anyone got any hot tips for a usb C power draw + display connection adapter for my E495??

    I miss my old T430 dock :(
