@luketechfast: Ah yes, now it is showing only parcel post. Startrack has disappeared. ill let you know when I can place the order then!

  • Roughly speaking, how many watts would this system use, idling, browsing and playing the most graphically demanding game it can handle?

a 550W unit would be the best bet, 450 or 500 are fine and 400 is also no problem but would start to lose a bit of efficiency.

At load you're probably looking at 250/260W, pcpartpicker give a rough power estimate of 260W
      https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/mjffx6

This calc suggests a 346W PSU so if it provides a 550W it's enough.

I can't find any details on the PSU they give, it's probably safest/smartest to either upgrade to the 750W PSU if you're not comfortable changing the PSU yourself, or probably just buying something like this.

@luketechfast, where can buyers go to get details on the specific 550W stock PSU? I've heard it's an Allied unit but can't find any recent details for their PSUs online, it would put a lot of buyers at ease / increase the value of your deals if customers don't have to automatically either specify a better PSU from you or spend another ~$65 or more themselves.

The base PSU is always a standard unrated unit the equivalent of others at the base pricepoint. Theye have always performed the same as any other unrated unit, branded or otherwise, otherwise we wouldn't use them as we'd be faced with unmanageable warranty requests/costs, which we're not. The upgrade option is always there if people want the peace of mind. I will see if I can find the specs of the unit though next week as we did sell them separately for a time.

        • Legendary, thanks!

  • Can anyone track down the measurements for the standard case? I am struggling to find exact measurements, thanks
