Jumpflex Trampoline vs Vuly Ultra

I'm tossing up between a vuly ultra and Jumpflex (medium).

At this stage, I'm leaning towards the Jumpflex due to the superior warranty and higher Spring count, but I like the zipperless entry and accessories of the vuly.

Can people who have had Jumpflex for a while comment on the ease of the zipper and sustainability of the padding and nets?

Comments

  • Got a jumpflex , zero issues, would definitely recommend.

Still solid after a couple of years.

No issues with zipper and net is still like new.

Padding over the springs has faded but apart from that it's fine, though with the net on the inside of the springs the padding doesn't really need to do much.

Had a shade cover that failed (ripped) after just over a year but they sent a replacement 'new style' for free when I contacted them.

  • I've only had a Jumpflex since xmas but no problems. The zipper is annoying with small kids as you are constantly zipping it up and down. But for smaller kids I'd imagine the zipperless entry also has its own problems!

Make sure you buy jumpflex on sale.

    • Have a Vuly (Lift 2?) - the 3yo has no issues with the entry, but the 1yo (understandably) does.

Not that I currently trust either of them to climb up and get in unsupervised.

I have more issues with the entry than the 3yo - rather tight and not tall enough for me. Be interesting to see if/when they start having trouble getting in, although I presume by then it would have been replaced: they only warrant the net for (and even recommend replacing it after) 1 year.

    • sorry so late to the topic, but what was the sale on jumpflex. I can't find any details on historic sales.

      • Black Friday sales. Then I think they had a boxing day sale too.

  • For what it's worth I actually have had both of these trampoline brands over the years. Jumpflex posed no real issues to be honest and the kids enjoyed it, but I found the Ultra to be slightly better. The kids said it was bouncier too. I also see they sell spare parts for half price so that's something I don't think Jumpflex offer?

    • they sell spare parts for half price

If it's always on sale, that's the normal price.

The "normal price" is just inflated so that they can say they're selling them to you for half price, and so that they make more money from spares for second-hand Vuly purchasers (since I would assume they won't qualify for the "half price" spares).
