  • For this price I would go with QCY T1 / T2. I'm not across all the latest BT Buds, perhaps there are newer budget winners.

Anyone know if these are sold under other names?

I have been enjoying the Soundpeats Truengine SE's, but more expensive and larger units that happen to stay in my ear better than the others.

    were they ever worth $99.99?

    • Is anything ever worth rrp?

For 20 bucks I think it’s “worth it”

So these are True Wireless, not True Wireless Stereo - TWS. Does that effectively mean they are mono?

  • aptx HD?

    • It is not APTX HD. Not for this price, i believe.

    • If you’re looking for aptX (non-HD) support at a cheap price, check out Tronsmart Spunky Beat

No reviews on Kogan Site for these is a bit of a worry.

    Soundpeats might be safer bet

Apple brand ones are better quality. You can buy first gen used ones for around $100 on Gumtree. Most don't have any ear wax lodged in to clean up, just wipe with a disinfectant and you are good to go.

dont buy Kogan crap, i bought one for $40 , they never paired , filed complaint they said those were faulty so they sent another one for free, even those stopped working after 2-3 weeks. end of story

  • Surely these are a re-badge. If you could find the OEM then you could probably find a review on these.

These look almost like QCY's but…there's suttlbe differences that makes me think these ARE NOT rebages, but actually cheap copies of them. I'd avoid.

    • yes, definitely look like QCY's. I wanted to buy but now I think avoid. Thanks for the good eye.

  • Just received these and they are absolutely terrible.
Mine carried a manufacturing defect where eaetips didn't even fit the speaker properly. Echo-ey, hollow sound signature. Avoid!

  • Definitely avoid. $20 is too good to be true.
Subpar quality, connection is pretty patchy too.
