[Resolved] Porting Date Issues

Hi everyone, I got a confusing question about porting from Catch to Boost.
I've ordered the Boost 80G(+40G) plan from Boost deal last week and still waiting for delivering. The service team said that it's going to be no more than 5 business day so it should arrive today hopefully.
However, my catch plan will expire this Friday. I just want to know, if the Boost sim arrives late on like Thursday and I do the porting progress immediately, but the progress does not finalize before Friday, what would happen?
Just thinking of buying a 28days prepaid plan from Coles/Woolies in case of anything wrong.

    Nothing will happen. The phone number will still be assigned to you, available for porting, for a few months after the catch plan expires.

    • No I mean, the catch plan will expire this Friday.

        From Catch Connect Website:

        You then have 90 days after your plan expires to recharge before your service is permanently disconnected and you will lose your mobile service number.
