  • In that tense it is "their" aaggghhh!!

    • so i'm going to assume not "any" tyres?

Good deal. Got myself 4 tyres for the price of 3! If only I could remember where I parked my car….

DOH.. !! U came by bus!!

  • Buy 4 tyres pay for 3

    Isn't that theft ?

  • good year only?

    • yep, and doesn't include fitting…

  • +2

Yes it is any type of Goodyear brand tyre. You pay for 3 but it's $25.00 for the fitting of the 4th (free) tyre.
The other 3 tyres are fitted free. I contacted them over the phone. Very helpful.

Edit: Balancing is included. Alignment is extra (around $50.00)

    • +2

if the other tyres are fitted free the add title is very misleading…

      • I agree, and as that is ~1/3-1/4 of the price of the tyre it is really a discount of about 15-20% on the 4, not the 25% that it suggests it is.

  • If you use "premium" tyres, these offers are amazing.
I use Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetrics which can run up > 400 / tyre, so the savings are very tidy.

    • +1

Well, that TOTALLY depend on the actual price per tyre.

      4 tyres at $250 (with none free) = $1000

      3 tyres at $350 (plus one free) = $1050

If you are used to paying retail price on things, I guess "discount percentages" might seem impressive. But shopping around you will normally find things a lot less than retail.

      • Absolutely. It goes without saying that you should find/negotiate a good price / corner first and then except the one free after that.

i got a quote from them 400$ ( 4 for the price of 3) it means 125$ each check on the other supplier they are selling same brand of tyres for 100, genuine ripoff

    • Should ring up to price match first then say 4 for 3….

      TEMPE TYRES, TALBE TYRES

      • if you have membership try costco. Prices are competitive and I got $70 cashback.

  • Good deal for sure, but won't go for goodyear again, very normal tyre.

    • +2

      you prefer abnormal tyres?

    • Like every tyre company, they have many different tyres at different levels of performance

      • agree with this one, you can have a good grip ( in wet or dry, usually soft ), a durable tyres ( a hard one ) can last up to 20k km , etc etc

        • The "V" rated Michelin (Pilot) tyres I got on my 4 year old Civic are coming up to 40,000km and still going strong.

  • +1

Agree with "jcsantos 24 min ago" above….no deal

Guys remember, tyres are more than just finding something to fit your rims.
Get yourself a quote, find out the make/model of tyre and shop around. Thought this was a normal thing for OzBargainers

    • Tyres are one of those odd things to shop for. Do your research and find the specs of the tyre you want then go hunting for a good price. You can be very surprised sometimes. :-) :-)

  • Price and durability shouldn't be your only concerns. When the proverbial hits the fan, there's only those 4 small patches to save you. Performance tyres can make the difference between a heart stopping near miss and disaster.
As stated, do your research, select a model and go fishing for the best price on that particular model
