Free Energy Saving Powerboard from Bendigo Bank

Hello

Did any one ever get this?

I won it but never got around to picking up at my local Bendigo Bank.

But it seems it been delivered to my house.
I got a Jackson 6 power socket board.

The courier said it was for me (mentioned my name) but I'm not sure if its from Bendigo bank, I wasn't at home at the time to ask. Its a power saving board so I guess so.

But I was supposed to pick it up.
Does this mean they will try to get me to pay for the courier?

  • That's a long time to get the powerboard to be delivered. Well, better late than never I guess.

I don't think you will need to pay for courier, or this would have been mentioned to you by the courier guy. Did they leave a card for you to pick it up at the depot/post office? If so, there will be a tick or something written on the card to suggest that you have to pay for the courier.

  • There was family member at my place at the time which signed for me.

The courier did not mention anything about paying. So I guess I'm safe.
    Thanks for telling me.

Did you receive the board Pauly?
I remember on the Bendigo website at the time there was a picture of the board.
All the board was in the picture was a small board with one power socket and a little button on it to turn it off or on.

I got a 6 socket board with surge protection :)

  • I didn't participate in that deal since it was for VIC only.

All the board was in the picture was a small board with one power socket and a little button on it to turn it off or on.

This reminds me of the $6-$10 extension boards you can get at discount stores. But they claim it to be a power saving board though, so it must be doing some good there.

I've got various surge protection boards myself, most from deals around here. e.g. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/40282. But I don't think they're power saving though.

  • Do you remember if you signed up for any other promotions/competitions/freebies that gave away a powerboard?

If not, most likely it is from Bendigo Bank and instead of collecting it at your local bank, they could have of couriered it to you

The courier did not mention anything about paying.

As mentioned by pauly, if you had to pay the fees, the driver would have of told your family member at the time to pay up, but as the courier driver didn't, I think that Bendigo Bank would have of couriered it to you for free

  • No I can't remember signing up for a power board deal other than the Bendigo freebie.
So I guess its from that.

I'll have to send a thank you note on Gmail to Bendigo.

    Thanks for the quick help.

    Edit:
I found the board they meant to send.
    http://www.ji.com.au/products/FSPB2199/ (4 socket, bad memory).

    I got this : http://www.ji.com.au/products/PT9778/

I guess they had two types to send out.
