  • Great price. Bought a few weeks ago for $1840 + delivery. Cest la vie!

  • +1

    Lowest it's ever been.

  • nice how is appliace central to deal with?

    • +4

They shipped my order very quickly. Ordered late on a Thursday night and it was dispatched the next day, received on the following Tuesday (delivered to SA).

    • Brilliant in my experience. Very friendly and easy to deal with.

  • +2

do you think any local retailers will match?

    • -1

I wish loll, jb has it for 1995

      • +1

        Try Office works ;)
On a serious note TGG may

        • TGG won’t match, offered $1896

      • Trying jb rn, not looking too good lol

        • They quoted around 1888 which is employee price.

          • @venomqo: You spoke to a sales rep not a manager lol…

I got $1712 back on black friday, they would price match this for me too.

I believe JB in Sydney has higher prices than anywhere else, the system doesn't let them come down as much naturally, the staff are also tighter on prices.

Yess thank you! Local pickup :)

    The 65" C9 is $2,695!

    "hair-raising blacks"

    What a statement

    • +1

And for some people that black could appear more like brunette or blonde, and that’s not a good contrast.

  • wow 1000 more for 10 inch extra, is it worth it? every inch counts rite?

  • Hmm would this suit bedroom tv?

Have 65 in the lounge room.

    • +1

      Yes

    • +3

      Nah. You'll need the 77 inch. 😀

Finally bit he bullet. Seems like a good price and good time to buy, considering the falling AUD and potentially prolonged supply chain disruption caused by the pandemic.

  • Got one last time with the good guys deal, love it.

  • Oof, feeling a pang of regret for jumping on the B9 at $1520 a month ago!

    • You still got a great TV with pretty much same features!

  • +1

No joy getting a local retailer in Brisbane to price match as I was informed that this ebay discount is being covered by Paypal.

Lowest general price I'm being offered is $1880.

    • Ended up getting it for $1750 pickup form VideoPro by signing up for ebay plus trial.

About as good as I could get.

    • I’m getting the same story about the eBay discount

    • Scamback

      • Does this not work, or what? Why a scam?

  • +4

Oooh this is tempting. Still praying and wishing my 8 year old HD Bravia would hurry up and die.

    • +3

You'll need divine intervention for that TV to die

    • +5

11 year old Bravia HD still Rocking

  • With postage included, the price for this TV for me is $1,827.50. Is it possible that this price would get any lower, or will they be most likely sold out across multiple vendors due to limited stock and making way for the C10 model?

    • Wouldn't get too much lower. Maybe $100 less on clearance. I'd expect this price once a month until June before stock is gone.

    • -1

Anything's possible, but coronavirus could hit the supply chain and push prices up for all we know.

  • A great TV at a brilliant price.

  • Got it got 1840pu at good guys trying to pedicure match ebay

    • +5

Tell us more about the pedicure match.

      • A very involved process. Best over a few beers.

    • Lighten up people. Zoolander joke.

If you have eBay plus and live in southeast QLD, Videopro have the same tv for $1705.50 pickup from eagle farm or plus post.
They were great to deal with when I arranged a TV for the parents through them.

    • The hell, they literally dropped the price after I placed my order.

  • Does appliance central notify you when attempting delivery?

    • +2

Yeah you usually check what day is available. They'll call you in the morning for a closer time, then around 10 mins before they get there as well

      • Thanks for confirming.

I had a bad experience with Sony delivering without any prior heads up. Glad this is different!

        • Sorry I f'ed up. Thought it was Appliances Online for retailer. Have no idea about Appliance Central. I'm an idiot… Good luck! :)

  • +1

Do yourself a favour and go for the 65" C9. The image is absolutely amazing and the larger real estate in viewing will create an immersive experience, one that you deserve.
If you go for the smaller 55", it would struggle to you with the amazement these technologically marvellous magic-boxes now deliver.

    • I think it is relative because my previous TV is 32" so 55" oped will be a big change.

    • I'm just worried about disposal. Not sure it will fit my small car. My local council does not take ewaste so we have to take it to designated ewaste collection sites.

    • +1

I agree and disagree. It really depends how close you're going to be sitting to it. You'll get dizzy pretty quick if you're sitting 2-3 metres back with a 65". Maybe that's just me though.

      It's also 1K more!

      • I found 65" is about the biggest I would want at 2.5-2.7m back (just barely inside the border of comfortable for 16:9 content). Happy I picked it for the 2.39:1 content where It's really perfect though. 55" would be fine, but 65" is perfect for me at that distance. 2m would be much too close though for 16:9 especially.

  • This run LG webOS and doesn't have VPN client….. Right? If it's andoird heaps better

  • Seller has ended the listing.

  • Anyone's order shipped yet?

    • Got mine. Looks pretty pretty good.
