Seems to be lowest price so far. Was going to buy at $24 (Big W) but found this for $19.

Trials Rising is the newest iteration of Ubisoft's gripping motorcycle platforming series. Combining the core gameplay and over-the-top action of the Trials franchise with all-new features, more competition, and a fresh visual look, Trials Rising is the biggest and most ambitious title in the series to date. The competitive rags-to-riches experience is designed from the ground up to gently introduce new players to the acclaimed physics-based gameplay. With more tracks than ever before, beginners are in for a smooth ride towards mastery, while the skills and nerves of experienced players will be put to the test in the most advanced challenges. This is Trials at its best.

  • Thanks op. Got a Switch copy!

    • How - I can only see it for $34.36 on Switch?

Just FYI, most Switch controllers do not have analog triggers. I understand this game is best played with analog triggers, so if you have the option between multiple consoles you may consider that. Otherwise, you’ll have to use the thumbsticks instead of triggers as controls on Switch.

I believe you can get analog triggers to work on Switch using the GameCube adapter, or using certain third party controllers. Mayflash/8BitDo adapter won’t work, because the system treats the controller as a Pro Controller, which doesn’t have analog triggers.

(I’ve never actually played this game, so I have no idea how much of an issue this is - just trying to be helpful!) :)

    • I've never heard of analog triggers working on Switch.

The Switch DOES actually support analog triggers, but it is up to the game to support it - Trials is one game that does have analog trigger support on Switch.

But the joycons and Pro Controller don’t have analog triggers, so you need to use a controller that does. The original GameCube controller has analog triggers, and if you use one with the GameCube adapter, you can use that to get analog triggers on Switch. Some third party controllers may also have analogue triggers, but as I said, if they work by spoofing the Pro Controller (as per the Mayflash/8BitDo adapters) then the analog triggers won’t work. (I believe there might be third party wired controllers with analog, but I’ve never looked into it, so I don’t know for sure.)

I played for a while and went dual sticks. Worked fairly well.

      • Yeah, I recall some people saying they were perfectly happy with dual sticks. Perhaps just sticklers that are used to analog triggers that are vocal about the issue?

        Cheers.
