If this ice cream never went on sale ozb would have significantly less deals.

  • Does anyone actually buy this at the full price of $11 (for a litre)?

Has anyone tried the new Camarosa strawberry and can opine on that flavour

I suppose the days of $5 a tub are gone just like CT shirts 3 for $99 delivered

    • I tried it.. it's quite a nice flavour but think I will stick to the raspberry and white choc for my berry fix.

Now a strawberry and white choc combo…

  • 500ml cream
    250ml milk
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 tsp Vanilla essence

And you have a better vanilla ice cream than this!

    • No eggs, not real ice cream

      • Try it! It's better without eggs. I was surprised by this!

Saves cooking too, no commercial icecream has eggs in it, hence why the fat levels aren't at 22+%

    • Just mix and freeze ? Or do you have to beat it in a old-fashioned churner for an hour ?

      • You need to churn it, you can buy one pretty cheaply, I've even used the Aldi one and it works.

Used to be $5 on sale for almost two years. But they are gradually increasing the price and now it is fixed at $5.5. Is this inflation effect?!

Drumsticks used to be 3.99 now they don’t go under 4.20

    • It helps to think of it in terms of the currency is worth less than it used to be so now it takes more of it to buy the same product.

The AUD has been devalued by a factor of 13 since it was introduced in 1966. It would take $260 today to equal $20 in 1966.

Hard to go backwards from Haagan-Dazs or Ben & Jerrys. The quality just isn't there with this stuff. I'd rather enjoy better quality and eat less.

    • How much are they?

      • Double the price and half the size

        • Not when on special. Who cares about half the size, most of would be overweight and should be eating less. I like quality.

  • Ahhh just bought this for 30% off at Coles. Damn you Woolies!
