Haven’t KFC in ages. Bought one of their Flagship burgers for like $6 and the chicken took up half the bread. Was hard, rubbery and tasteless. I swear I remember them being way more substantial but this seems ridiculous.

Zinger's are the way to go, the Original Fillets are terrible and if they've been sitting there for over an hour - they go all chewy and rubbery, whereas the Zinger ones can, but not as much.

yes KFC is! Maccas on the other hand serves much better.
I have had the opposite happen to me.
Which means it's the luck of the draw.
I made my own version in the oven last night, close enough to the original and not oily. Look for the recipe online.
