good morning all, i was wondering if anyone knows how many fans i can connect to the MSI X470 GAMING PLUS MAX AM4 besides the cpu cooler fan and exhaust fan? my plan is to add two fans in front and two fans on top. not sure if those four fans, the exhaust fan, and cpu cooler fan can all be connected to motherboard or will i need a fan hub?

Just look up the max ampere the board's fan ports can support - you can daisy chain them up as long as the fan ampere combined does not exceed the maximum allowed ampere outputted by the port. Also, only use one yellow or and blue wire and either disconnect the others or cut them off as the motherboard would probably be only to read it from one fan…
1 x 4-pin CPU fan connector
1 x 4-pin PUMP fan connector (supports up to 2A)
4 x 4-pin system fan connectors
So sounds like you have 6 possible headers for fans.
