Scoopon Beauty Plus Perth Refund wanted.

Here is my email to Scoopon regarding Beauty Plus in Perth. It was for laser hair removal.

Beauty Plus sent me a text last Monday telling me my appt the following day was cancelled due to staff illness. The text said they would get back to me. I have left three messages and none of my calls have ever been returned. It goes straught to voice mail. I have been to their website to reschedule, but there are no appts for 45 days - late October. I booked on the morning of the first day like a resposnible consumer. I do not believe I will be able to use this vouchers value by the time it expires in Feb. As they will not return my calls and as they have cancelled on ME, I want a refund. (Note - their phone goes straight to voice mail.)

    The exact same thing happened to me, and after making another appointment online as they never got back to me, they have now sent me an email saying their services in perth have been temporarily suspended due to relocation of premises. And once their relocation is established they will honour their voucher deals with the appropriate extended time. And asked to please be patient and they will advise their new location once re-established.

    Never answer the phone, never returning calls, cancelling appointments, relocating…This is all sounding very suss to me. If they don't get back to me with their new location … i will be asking for a refund too

    • Glad Im not the only one who has this problem. Had my first appointment, in september, was all fine, booked my next appointment with lady who did my treatment and that got cancelled. Same thing, cant get through on phone, dont feel I should have to wait months for another appointment when im not the one who cancelled in the first place. Just want it sorted!!!

    I asked Scoopon for a refund and received it due to their cancellations. It sounds like that is their signature. Book appointments in, then cancel them. It drags it out. I think I might just send a complaint to Dept of Fair Trading because even though I got my refund, it looks like they could be deliberately avoiding performance of their duties.

    On a side note, Rennaissance has cancelled on me twice. The first time (in Oct or Sept, we rebooked for JANUARY - FFS). The second time, I was told there was appointments available the following day and someone would call me back to rebook. No one called and their 1300 number system is the pits.

  • I have also had all the same problems as listed by everyone else I have tried their mobile, work phone, website everything to get in touch with them as I had booked two sessions of fat caviation treatment thru Demtel International…

    • Me too. I'm having problems with their place in NSW! They take your money and don't do anything. My friend who is a lawyer said i should complain to dept of fair trading and said what they are doing might actually be fraud!

      • Do it. Do it. Do it. By all reports they take bookings and then cancel them. Unacceptable.

  • I have had huge problems too. I purchased my voucher to Beauty plus Perth in October 2011 & tried to redeem straight away. I booked online but didn't get a confirmation email so tried to contact them. No replies to my emails & I just got the answering machine when I rung. I complained to our deal who apparently looked in to this & advised that beauty plus would contact me.I received an SMS cancellation for my online booking in November & an automated email from Beauty-Plus also in November in which they advised that they are relocating & will contact clients & honour the vouchers. I still haven't been contacted by them. I noticed there is no longer an option to select Beauty Plus Perth to book online via the website & the message bank for the Sydney phone number is full. It doesn't look promising. I have contacted our Deal again today.I agree this seems like a scam.
