[StartHere] MoneyBackCo doesn't include GST?

Just put the Lenovo offer and looks like the value being tracked by moneybackco excude GST.

Is that how it suppose to happen?

  • AFAIK it's normal. 10% goes to the government and sorry you can't get cashback on that portion :( (unless you are also GST registered)

    • I just checked on my previous transaction … moneybackco track the total price.. It's only on lenovo it has excluded the gst part.

      It's just a bit odd or maybe there is a change of the policy

      • Hmm. I know at least Lenovo and Dell are doing ex-GST amount. What other merchants have you claimed back the transaction before? It might differ from affiliation network to network.

        • My previous transaction was from oo.com.au and it was calculated from the total price.

  • It varies from merchant to merchant it depends on how they set up their trigger code whether they include the pre or post GST price. Most merchants understandably prefer not to pay commission on the GST portion.

      But good to know every merchant is different on how they pay the commision
