i think apple did well out of this. it cost them $25 per customer to get them to upgrade to a new over-priced iphone. money well spent!
And thus mtg demonstrates their complete failure to understand the whole debacle by lamenting that Apple tried to force people to buy new phones by slowing the processor down at peak load as to avoid a phone that shuts down unexpectedly. Nice one.
