People think other people care that there's a picture of a piece of fruit on their laptop.
Dumb post - I've never owned a Mac but they make fantastic machines that have set the benchmark for laptops for years.
@Hinee: Dumb reply. Never said they were bad. Just that people like other people to know they own one because they think it impresses them.
Not much performance wise has changed in 5 yrs (just slimmer with less ports, now need dongles). I guess $599 is probably good bang for buck a laptop that will also run windows (with 90 days warranty). $500 is probably baseline second hand.
Op, any deals on a MacBook Air?
FWIW, I bought a Microsoft Surface from them last year. The Surface was in great condition, except the power connector wouldn't always connect. Emailed them about it, they sent out a replacement express post same day. Was pretty impressed.

For a 2015 13" Macbook pro refurbished and in supposedly excellent condition this is a great deal at $599.
what is the battery life like?
We record battery cycles for every Apple device we sell. They last approx 6-8 hours* light to medium use (it all depends on individual user settings)
On average Apple notebooks that we sell have less than 300 cycles (2016 and newer models) while some with brand new batteries.
