Everyone who think going to dentist is expensive, should get this.

4000 local reviews and almost 9000 in Amazon USA.
    Seriously don't ask just buy.

    • How is this compared to philips?

      • +2

Just got this waterpik and is so much better than my Philips. Crank it to full 10 and it's almost guarantee to remove all food stuck in between teeth.

Philips is fixed liquid pressure and doesn't have a great jet attachment to go with it. Pressure isn't great for removing hard and stuck food fibres. The best Philips can do is thee burst fluid whereas waterpik is continuously flowing. This means waterpik you can continuously move easily to other teeth.

The only great thing about Philips is you can plonk undiluted mouth wash. Whereas waterpik you need to dilute it. Plus waterpik is continuous flow and so you can easily empty the water reservoir in one session. Hence you won't need mouthwash for waterpik cos the water jet pressure is that great for pushing things out of in between teeth.

Weird thing about waterpik is once you switch the power button from the unit, water starts to continuously flow out of the handle. Youll need to continuously press the handle button to stop the water flow. Would've made more sense if the button on the handle allowed the water to flow when pressed.

        • Thanks for the detailed comparison. i’ll keep an eye out for next time

After talking to a dentist, the flosser does get a large amount covered it is still advisable to floss because it can't reach all your gums

However, if you're lazy and never do it. It is a lot better than not doing it at all

    • +1

This pretty much. It takes a bit of effort and time to use anyways. May as well put that effort into flossing properly.

  • +1

    good deal thank you op!

  • Personally I think Waterpik Ultra Professional Water Flosser WP-660 is a way better option and it's been for sale at $105 a number of times on Amazone.

    • +1

According to this review, the older model WP-100 is better. The review was apparently written in 2015 so both models are "old" models in a way.

WP-660 (new model) has the following additional features:
      * 1 additional classic tip,
      * Massage setting, and
      * Pacer function (handle vibrates every 30 secs).

All the important basic stuff is the same (water pressure strength and reservoir capacity).

      • I don't read reviews, I use personal experience and/or professional advice.

However, the review you posted is kinda subjective as I don't feel WP-660 any less "sturdier" or have any problem with handling its coil. It works very well and looks much better (that's where my subjectiveness come into play).

extra $10 if you are sign up. Note I just checked out as guest and still got the extra $10. Making it total $89.

    • Both codes stack?

      • +1

the welcome one is automatically applied. You'll need to add the code "DEALS" one… so yes. They stack

        • Thanks! I recall having to add the 'welcome10' code manually when I registered for an account ages ago hence the query. Good to know for new accounts!

  • This shouldn't replace flossing

  • +3

I bought this on a recommendation and it's great. Use it daily, and floss about once a week. Easy to use straight after brushing teeth.

    • +1

It's better to use it before brushing. If you waterpik after brushing, you wash away the fluoride from your toothpaste.

  • How does this compare to Philips cordless ones?

    • +1

"The use of the Waterpik Water Flosser removes significantly more plaque from tooth surfaces (whole mouth, marginal, approximal, facial, and lingual) than the Sonicare Air Floss when used with a manual toothbrush."

Don’t forget to get 3.5% cashback from shopback.
    Actual price will be $86.51

  • +2

I got the cordless version of this. On medium it is ridiculously powerful. High on the portable one tears up my gums…

    • Agreed!

  • +3

My white one turned a nasty looking yellow colour over time, go the black

    • +1

Did you leave it in the sun?

      • +1

That's a negative, seems to be a reaction that happens over time. Similar with how plastics on shoes can go white.
Still works like a charm tho

  • +1

Thank you! Been hoping to purchase one of these for three years. Hope it's the same one I wanted to purchase, there were some supposedly better brands available which weren't available here.

  • This look exactly the same as the one I bought from Amazon or eBay for $40 delivered. And you think you need expensive toothpaste to brush your teeth? All you need is to dip your wet toothbrush in salt or carbonate sodium.

    • +1

      Bruh… Toothpaste isn't that expensive

  • +3

Expired? Coupon doesn't bring price down.

    • I just tried so looks like allocated stock across both colours is all sold.

      I'll update post.

  • +5

The ideal time to use a Waterpik is before you brush your teeth. This is because doing so can allow you to remove food debris and plaque. When you use a Waterpik before brushing your teeth, teeth brushing becomes more effective.

    • Ah! Makes sense. Thanks for the tip.

  • I had one of these, which I used for a few years, but the cord broke on it. I bought this to replace it and have been really happy with it.

    • Do you mean the power cord or the cord (water line) to the water tip.

If its the latter you can get complete tip holders with line, and find a youtube video on how to replace. Less than $10

      • The latter. I replaced it, but it broke again, so I decided cordless is the way to go since it eliminates the problem altogether

  • Looks like the code doesn't work anymore

  • Code not working anymore - maybe reached 100 already?

  • +1

Still works for me. Paid $89. Thanks Op!

  • +2

this is an amazing deal for an amazing product. for everyone out there just go buy one no matter the price and you will not regret, i am amazed after i brush my teeth i use this and the amount of stuff the comes out blows my mind every time.

  • +7

Why is this marked as expired? I just got it for $89 with the sign up for the $10 off and added deals to the coupons and the stacked.

    • +2

Ditto, just ordered as well. Thanks for the heads up or I wouldnt have tried!

    • Cheers mate

    • Cheers. Just tried again and it's working

    • +1

Because it wasn't working. Thanks to you I managed to grab one. Many thanks.

    • My apologies - I was offline for the last week.

The code wasn't working when I last checked as a couple of other ppl had also noted so it looked like the allocated was sold out.

Thanks for also checking/confirming/updating OzB that the deal was stil valid for others.

  • +1

Managed to nab one of these pick up. Going to pick up and get as burrito for lunch. What a perfect day.

    lol

CONCLUSION: The use of the Waterpik Water Flosser removes significantly more plaque from tooth surfaces (whole mouth, marginal, approximal, facial, and lingual) than the Sonicare Air Floss when used with a manual toothbrush.

      Huh interesting!

  • +1

I put a capful of mouth wash in mine while using it. Really refreshing. The instructions say don't do this. Probably something about the seals being affected. Been doing it for years no problems

  • Can still be bought at $89. Just collected and used it first time. It doesn't seem as powerful on full throttle compared to cordless Soocas W3 imo
