Best Fitness Watch w/ Local Music Storage

Hi all,

I'm chasing a fitness/ sports watch that allows you to play music from the device without the need for 3rd party software. Essentially I want to be able to drag and drop the songs I have currently downloaded on my Samsung S10+ and play them on the watch while leaving the mobile phone at home.

Does anyone have any suggestions that come in at under $200? Currently looking between these two.

  • Versa is a popular choice and nice sale in your link.

    • Do you own one or know someone that does? :)

  • Vapor has GPS but Versa requires phone for GPS.

I would have recommended Garmin Vivo Active 4/Venu if you had a $500 budget.
I have the same phone and own Venu. I stopped carrying my phone altogether when in the gym/running.
You can get a Vivo Active 3 Music for $300 (pre-owned) Music/GPS as well as Garmin Pay.

I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music. I highly recommend it. When it comes to GPS/fitness, Garmin is hard to beat. But the good thing about the Vivoactive 3 Music is that it has smart watch elements too it too (Touchscreen, Garmin Pay etc.). Compared to what is usually expected from Garmin.
