Love the honeycomb dial, hate the open heart :/

    • Same, had they made the open heart in a honeycomb pattern it could have been an interesting twist. Also not sapphire glass. Hard pass.

    Gender : Male

What makes it a male watch? Will it need to be neutered?

  • Well they do make a ladies size too if you are interested.

    Brand : SEIKO
    Code : SSA781J
    Gender : Female
    Case Diameter : 33.8mm

  • why is the mens $699 and the ladies $875 ?

    • Limit of 6000 units for mens vs 3000 for ladies could be part of the reason.
Though I find ladies watches generally rarely get discounted as deeply as mens.

      • I would also argue the mens version would have far bigger local supply to move through as well, and as such can be offered at a better price. I don't think this particular model has been on sale much anywhere as of yet.

Got a star bar thanks ScomOP

  • These Presage "limited editions" with mineral glass are really disappointing. But then you'll have some cheaper ones with curved Sapphire. Go figure.

e.g. The SRPD39J is dual curved Sapphire…Also has a relatively nice face.

    • To be fair, even the OG SARB065 Cocktail time had a mineral crystal.

But yes, would have been a nice inclusion for the asking price.

      • Yeah. I was slightly disappointed with my Mockingbird (SRPD37J) and its mineral glass as well, but I can't be mad at that gorgeous green dial.

Yeah. When you're asking for $700+, it'd be nice to have Sapphire. They have some cheap sub $200 Premier watches with Sapphire. I just don't get it.
