Apple Laptop Screen Gone Berserk. Apple Closed

My Yr 12 child's laptop screen has gone bizerk and so have they as apple just closed the stores.

Going without is not an option.
They need it at school so can't hook it up to a monitor.

The only option is repair or replace. Or borrow I suppose.

Does anyone know of a reputable repair place in Perth that would do repairs?

Thanks and stay safe. 💐

There are Apple authorised service centres - not Apple shops, but Apple genuine parts etc.
Go through the steps on Apple's website for a repair and it will show you the closest repair centres near you

What's the screen doing, got a pic?

    Is it broken?

Buy a new one online. Bit expensive, but if you say going without it isn't an option then thats something you can do.

  • Thanks. No more comments please.

The father owns a sizable company and is taking care of it. Apparently going to try to repair.

If it isn't fixable, a new one will be bought.

As a point of interest. Apple was called and after 29 minutes, someone answered. Said "just 2 seconds hold on". All the while coughing heavily. Then the call was disconnected. Another attempt to contact apple was successful.

  • Pretty sure you can ship it to apple and they will fix it but I don't know if this is valid for Macs and if it is still a valid option due to Corona Virus.
