Any specific thing to buy from Bunnings or so?

Just laminate (glue on a new plank) as a new skirt board. You'll have to do some fine adjustments so cut out some cardboard as a template.

This will move your kickboard out about 10mm.

    Caulk the new edges.

    Done.

    • thanks, since the gap is less in width, do you think just adding some silicon or some filler will help?

You could but anything more than a 3-4mm makes it hard to do a nice job with silicone.

The proper way without doing any tilework is just to add a new kicker.

  • Looks like it was a DIY install. You could mask it and clear silicone, then spray with spray and wipe and wipe of excess with your finger.
As tshow said if the gap is more than 3mm it will look crap.
Better to get a cabinet maker to scribe some new kick panels to the tiles and install them properly.

  • basically, that gap is causing the hiding place of cockroaches.

    • Poorly installed kitchens will do that, also check for gaps around pipes under sink.

  • Glue on a light strip? Xiaomi etc and run it around your cabinets for feature lighting

  • thanks guys, im wondering how did this happen at first place?
We didnt notice it till last few weeks…and I confirm the cabinet itself looks ok, i mean not broken in any way

    • Whoever did the measuring obviously did bad work, ie the kitchener.

    • Is that where the kitchen sink is? Would water have dripped around that area?

      • yeah, this is exactly on sink side

  • Bunnings trip, find a nice trim/edge measure to length and glue/nail in.
