Opinions Needed for VPN Website Prior to Launch

Hi everyone,

We will be launching our VPN service soon ( yes, we will also do a very special…special for OzBargain ) and we would appreciate some user feedback regarding our website. The main things we will need feedback on is if we have explained our features properly or if they are unclear. Design suggestions will also be appreciated. Please note that we are not yet running so you will not be able to sign up.

We would just like to thank everyone in advance for any help.

Regards,
Peter @ Oeck.

  • Fancy as what comes out ones backside.

    Very difficult to read eg

    Meet your online guardian.
    Cerberus.

Much of the text disappears into background

and why do I need to scroll down jsut to read stuff that can be on one or two pages rather than multiple?

Are you trying to look bigger than you are?

    • Basically this. Ugly rainbow text.

  • In addition, all of our VPN servers are owned by us and run without any hard drives or other storage media.

What does this mean? Is the OS launched and run in ram? Or over a network?

How do I pronounce "Oeck"? Answered

    It is pronounced 'Oak'.

  • You guys need a touch up on colour theory.
Change the image of the wolf as the text looks ugly over the image.
Also, change the front page to something more eye-catching. The rainbow text over the black background looks ugly.
Might just be my eyes but I don't think the FAQ page is not centered correctly.

  • Hate the colours, especially the rainbow text.

You haven't considered colour blind users.

    • You haven't considered users.

      FTFY.

    • You haven't considered colour blind users.

      They are colourblind not blind.

  • +1

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the feedback. We will discuss these changes and hopefully get a more fitting design.

    Regards,
    Peter @ Oeck.

  • O Heck

That is the first thing I thought of
The second was, are the servers going to be fast enough?

  • While I choose to have a VPN that is not in the 14 eyes network, I also don't think I would trust a VPN based in Hong Kong.
