Went in for something completely different and these caught my eye. Given the stickers, I assume these are local, but they might be part of a stock rollover from Verbatim and happening in other stores.

I have no use for the micro USB end of these any more, but $14 for a 64GB drive of this size is pretty alright.

  When I was a kid this brand made expensive floppy disks. They were the premium brand. They were the Louis Vuitton of floppy disks, charging $60 for a box of 10 1.44MB disks. Generic brands at the time only charged $10.

  Now they just make slow USB sticks and el cheapo headphones. What a fall.

    These Verbatim's are the same company in name only, having changed partners and owners multiple times since its founding.

      the name and what it's become is a shadow of its former self so I don't know why they still want to keep the branding. Anyone under 30 right now is unlikely to know the history of the company or even heard of them.
